Let me start with the fact that everything on the menu is under 25 Euros; as if that wasn't enough of a catch, the restaurant is located atop a mountain which offers breathtaking panoramic views of Attersee! The staff are super friendly, even speaking English, whereas the ambiance is cosy. As for the food, well... I'm a foodie and I have to admit that I was surprised at the quality and taste of each dish my favorite (and recommended) dishes would be the potatopuff with salmon as the small twig of rosemary makes such a difference and the nougatball which was freshly made, oozing hazelnut. Overall, a must have dining experience whilst in Attersee/ Salzburg!

We had one evening's dinner left to find, when I finally turned to TripAdvisor, and boy was I glad I did! This place is literally at the end of the road on the mountain (we actually stopped someone on the way to be sure we hadn't missed it), but once you're there you understand why, the view is utterly amazing of the lake and the surrounding mountains and towns. Then to top it off, the food was also top notch! The service was also great! It was also the restaurant with the most clientele during our four days in the area, obviously the locals' favorite, too. This was our favorite meal of our four-day stay and so glad we thought to check out TripAdvisor!

Probably the best dinner we have had on our visit to the lakes this summer. Absolutely stunning views, attentive service and great local Austrian food. We all enjoyed all three courses and there is also a fine range of beer and wine. Later in the evening, braziers are lit so you can sit and enjoy the stunning views across Attersee while enjoying your digestif or coffee. Really pretty great.
