This hotel is located above a magnificent lake, was a pleasant place to have a cozy lunch on a rainy day. we ordered "grandmass suppe" and the trout. both were excellent and we are picky. some reviews mentioned high prices, but they are appropriate in view of the. quality of food. the service was friendly and genuine.

We had dinner here recently. the food was in the average. I ordered a zanderfilet that was a small filet that was floating in a plate with very rich cream sauce and a small spoon of risotto. it wasn't very good. I also ordered one. beside salad with kernel oil, which unfortunately contained only three drops of kernel oil. I've jumped over dessert, but ordered a liqueur that's been screwed up again. the glass they served me contained an ice cube and maybe a maximum of 10ml liqueur. it really looked like a glass with which someone else was done. extremely disappointing plus extremely overpriced. I'm not going back in the final.

As always I ordered my favorites, lamb ribs, very tasty and their special red wine, a kind of seasonal soup that you can order,

I could well recommend this as the best food we had in austria, not the cheapest but by far the best. I would go back there if I was ever around that area again, The Fillet steak was cooked to prefection and the trout had...a taste that had come straight from the water and not the freezer.well worth a visit.

Wir waren am Nachmittag gegen 16:00 da und wurden von Wespen Schwärmen attackiert! Das essen war zwar ok aber wir konnten es leider nicht wirklich genießen. Für den Preis viel zu unprofessionelles Personal. Wir kommen nicht wieder!
