It's probably best to drive to another location. Consider trying Sunset Lanai or other MWR establishments instead; it's worth the trip. You'll be happier, customers will spend less, and the food will be better. I’m not sure what the Nehelani’s long-term plans are unless they’re aiming to close down.

We are staying across the street at the Inn and don't really know the area, so my husband and son went there last minute and asked if they could make a cake and Ice cream for my birthday. They hooked up a small cake and ice cream and supplied candles as well. I thought that was really nice of the staff to do that. Needless to say, they made my birthday splendid. Thank you so much for going out of your way to make this happen!!

The Nehelani Club is exactly what you would anticipate from an establishment on a military post. Typically, these kinds of eateries aren’t recognized for their gourmet offerings, and that's perfectly acceptable. Consequently, the club’s 3-star rating isn’t a criticism—it’s rather standard. Given those expectations, the food is good. I’m not suggesting that the dishes will astonish you or leave your taste buds dancing, but you’ll still find the meal enjoyable. Lastly, the staff is dedicated to providing excellent service to their customers.

Every last Friday of the month, the restaurant hosts a Hawaiian Buffet for $14.95. The buffet features a variety of dishes, including lau lau, kalua pork, teriyaki chicken, fish, chicken long rice, poi, lomi lomi, sweet potato, and haupia. Occasionally, they also offer some type of poke. In addition to these hot dishes, you'll find salad, fruit, a soup, and a cake or dessert included. I've consistently found everything on the menu to be quite delicious. They do offer themed buffets throughout the month as well, which can be hit or miss. For instance, I found their Filipino buffet to be pretty good, while the Southern buffet was just okay, with the catfish being the standout dish. Prices for the buffets generally range from $10.95 to $14.95, but it can be confusing as the website often lists one price while I'm charged another. Regardless, I enjoy dining here from time to time, and I'm sure I'll be back soon!
