Linh-long Asia Bistro - Schwalmstadt

Lovely weather, cycling weather, Red Riding Hoodland Railway way towards Goathain. But just where? Asia Bistro has only been on our visit list for a few weeks. We had ordered a table because we did not know how the operation would be in general and in particular on a Sunday noon. As it turned out, it would not have been necessary. In the middle of goat's grove between shopping center, doctor's house, pharmacy, bakery etc., lies the little Linh Long. Parking is available if you have luck directly for the door, but also in sufficient mass a maximum of 3 minutes walk away. There are no more than six tables in the interior and two to three bistro tables in front of the glass front. On arrival we were the only guests and were probably recognized by the bikes as the previous callers. So we had free choice. The greeting was friendly but uninhabited cool. The numbered card offers about 85 dishes. I had chosen a Tom Kha Gai soup as an appetizer. So that my wife didn't have to watch me, she chose a few mini spring rolls. The soup was good. In contrast to my first encounter with such a soup in the goat's shark Landgraf Scheune, however, a bit watery. For this, the barn soup was more than twice as expensive as today's soup with €2.70. There is not much to say about spring rolls. Finished goods. The main food of my wife crispy chicken with china mushrooms, bamboo and various vegetables looked great and also tasted very good. The same applies to my mixed plate, crispy duck with three kinds of meat (skin, chicken and beef). Shade was a little bit that the Asian beers on the map (Saigon beer, tiger beer and the third one is mine) were no longer in stock. No one would buy them and so the durability date would always have expired so there is no more. The cleanliness overall left a little to be desired. The menu was very sticky. The whole bistro, especially in the corners, is clearly unclean. The rubber tree next to me shared his pot with a bunch of rice and noodles. The toilets are very new. The men's toilet, in contrast to the women's toilet, has already shown signs of lack of sufficient care. Under the box with green paper towels there was already a layer of green paper dust. How long does it take to pick up something like that? Conclusion, for a fast, cheap, good food everything ok. For a nice, cozy, demanding and romantic meal rather unsuitable. But this claim is certainly not the case.
