Friendly staff and clean with a good breakfast selection.
Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, hotel had a little bit of everything that is needed, even for an extended stay such as mine. The town may be small but they take very good care of guests. Could not have asked for a better stay. Rooms: 4 Service: 5 Location: 5
The new owners of the Smoke Tree Inn (since 2018 I believe) are super great people that are prideful in the place they own and provide lodging to visitors. We stayed in Plentywood at a similar hotel for 6 years prior to our first stay at the Smoke Tree Inn for our annual deer/bird hunting trip. The place in Plentywood (I will leave nameless) charges $25 per night more than the Smoke Tree Inn and the place is much older, not as clean, nor provides a continental breakfast comparable to the Smoke Tree Inn. They also have an employee (super dedicated and loyal) named Connie who is a lifelong resident and can give you any pointers regarding any questions you might have as it pertains to your stay there.
