It will only continue to grow in popularity with the additions of luxury apartments in the area.
Highly recommend this brewery! First time stopping by and couldn't be more impressed. Been to well over 20 breweries in the Cincinnati and surrounding areas. This is the most modern functioning we've been to. Self services taps and food, employees there to help you if needed tough. Staff is very friendly and we got the back story of how the brewery came to be. Such a awesome experience!
Arrived right at opening with my father this past Saturday. The staff was warm, welcoming, and super helpful. The staff showed us around the self serving beer and food ordering. The self serving beer was neat because one could try before going for a full glass. They change up some of their food monthly, one is the pizza. I got the pickle/ranch monthly pizza and it was amazing, super yummy. My father got the Italian sub which was just as yummy. Great place to hang by yourself, with friends, or even bring up the family and kids! Cheers!
It was my first time at Big Ash and don't see any reason to go back when there are so many incredible breweries in Cincinnati. There is no problem with the beer and the staff was very kind and helpful with the self-service station, but the food was extremely poor and overpriced considering its quality and the fact that you have to do it all yourself (get a swipe card upon entering, use an ipad station to order your food, get the buzzer, go get the food when the buzzer goes off). None of this would bother me that much if the food was good but the pizza was truly terrible. I don't see how it's anything other than pre-packaged frozen. A *tiny* round pizza that was mostly puffy tasteless crust cost $10.50 and then they automatically prompt you for a 20-25% tip upon cashing out at the end.
Nice taproom with a small selection of self pour beers. A couple nice IPAs and a couple Lagers. About 1/3-1/2 the selection is wine/seltzer/cider which is a bit lame.
