The server was nice and working hard. It was obvious they were under staffed. The food was not very good. I had salmon which was simply pan seared, and almost not cooked completely. The salmon was void of any seasoning and was accompanied by 5 6 baby carrots. It was not a memorable dish. My wife ordered a salad with chicken and the dressing was to be on the side. Of course the lettuce was drenched in dressing. The salad came back on a plate with 10 ten pieces of butter lettuce and dry chicken. She let the manager know and he discounted the meal 15% but that didn 't cover her meal. We were both disappointed!
Our waiter was extremely friendly and very knowledgeable of the menu. He gave us great recommendations on our wine, appetizer, and helped us decide between a couple of entrees we were thinking about. Very attentive to our needs!
On a not at all busy Monday night, service was very slow and not on par with what I'd expect from a high-end steakhouse. We were not offered a seond round of drinks until our food arrived, and by the time the wine I wanted to pair with my steak arrived, I was 2/3 of the way through my steak. One of my partie's rib eye was so cold his butter add-on didnt melt; the truffle butter on my fliet was completely melted-it had obviously sat under a warmer. We only had 5 people in our party and one person's meal did not come out with the rest-it was a good 5 minutes while the rest of us watched our food get colder. If I got a do over, I'd spend a few dollars more and go across the street to Morton's.
We visited to celebrate two recent graduates. Juaun went out of his way to make the graduates feel special and was a great server. The upside down apple pie was recommended at the end of our meal and it was delicious. The meal was good.
