What a great chill vibe coffee shop. Friendly staff and place to grab your favorite drink.

I stopped into The Upside last week for a coffee and time writing. I enjoyed a raspberry white mocha, and it was fantastic!The coffee is fresh, the vibes are chill. It’s a great spot to have some coffee and study, write, or generally chill for a while. I’d hazard a guess and say this is a hang for much of the UC community. Definitely wish a spot like this was here when I attended UC.

All the baristas are wonderful, especially croissant Kate and Maddie. I get quick service with a friendly smile. Love how they know my name even though they deal with many customers a day.

I love the baristas here! They’re always smiling and always willing to use my reusable coffee cups! I am here almost daily! The iced lattes and nitro cold brews are my go-tos! I love the spinach and cheese croissant too!Kid-friendliness: My son loves their hot chocolate!

Highly recommend the chai latte! Great coffee shop with good music and good selection of options to choose from.
