They offer a variety of sandwiches, toasties, jacket potatoes, and a daily hot special, all of which are delicious. The crispy bacon roll I ordered was exceptional and the best I've had while dining out. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure a great experience for customers. I highly recommend visiting this hidden gem just one minute off the A1. You won't be disappointed.
For an authentic taste of Scottish village life, look no further than the Village Hall in Cockburnspath. Here, all dishes are prepared and served by friendly and knowledgeable local residents. Don't expect just traditional Scottish fare like neeps and tatties or haggis on the menu – I enjoyed a delicious bowl of lentil and bacon soup accompanied by a fresh salad with local vegetables, perfect for autumn. Although I couldn't sample dessert due to allergies, the selection of chocolate cake, pie, scones, meringue, and chocolate squares was tempting. And the prices are incredibly reasonable – you can indulge like royalty for under £10, including a pot of tea or coffee in a Bodum. The only downside is that the restaurant is only open on Wednesdays. Soak in the local accents, enjoy the picturesque view, and savor the delicious food. Want to blend in with the locals? Just mention how much you are enjoying Copath!
