Dickey's Barbecue Pit - Scottsdale

Real Texas barbecue in Arizona! I?ve seen this location several times but never tried it because I was under the impression they did not have french fries or fried okra. But I was wrong. Stopped in today and had a chopped brisket sandwich, macaroni and cheese, and fried okra. Everything was great.

This was my first visit to this BBQ chain. We dropped in on a late Sunday afternoon, so not a prime meal time. This location is pretty small, only a handful of tables. It's counter order service. When our order was ready, it was carried out to us. Very pleasant staff. We opted for two brisket and sausage orders, with various sides. Unfortunately, most all of the food in our order was barely above room temperature. While the brisket was as tender as I've ever had it, the cooler temperature meat was less enjoyable especially for the sausages. Not sure if our timing was bad, perhaps peak dinner hour would have been better. However, that shouldn't matter. The prices seemed reasonable, especially for families. Perhaps a take out order taken home for reheat would be a better option.

Love the food. Quality is the same everywhere, have to love that. Quick and easy to order.

At my third visit in this location, just because they are so inviting. eating is great and practically demand a daily. love!

Maybe their ribs are better but their Burnt Ends were neither. Just serving up the point end of a brisket is not burnt ends.
