The food is just as impressive as the beer. We tried the Southwest Chopped Salad and the Chef Salad, both of which were fantastic. Fun fact: you can create your own six-pack to take home for just $10.50. We look forward to returning during our next visit to Scottsdale!
In terms of food, we ordered edamame, the Abe Froman Pizza, and nachos. While the pizza was delicious, the crust was a bit underwhelming for our taste. Both the nachos and edamame were fantastic, and the portions were quite large. The nachos come served on a large tray, baked with protein and cheese, while the other toppings are provided on the side. This setup allows for customization, catering to picky eaters as well. Service was attentive and friendly—our server was eager to recommend her favorites and checked on us regularly. However, it was a bit odd that she assumed we were done after we finished our beer flight. Overall, it's a solid spot to catch a game or enjoy a meal with friends. While the food and beer may not be extraordinary, they offer great value based on our experience.
Nice brewery. Well-designed room and has a beautiful terrace. The food is somewhat better than an average Brawpub, while the beer selection is what you would expect with some interesting things that are thrown in. Four Peaks is a mainstay of the Phoenix market with several locations around the city in addition to the taprooms at the brewery sites. Not the most modern brewery with all means, but a solid offer with some excellent seasonal and barrel alternative offers. The service is average, but not great. This location can be busy at peak times, so plan to wait, but after dinner rush it has plenty of space. If you do not want to support the macrobeer infiltration from Craft-Bier, do not apply a Four Peaks location, as they have been owned by Anheiser Busch from Budweiser-Rumme for several years. (It was a sad day when it happened, and that was my first visit ever.
That was my second visit to Phoenix and this place. Still amazing. Waiting was 50 minutes for a table (good value). Server was pleasant and knowledgeable. The food was delicious for the first time. Pigmeat turkey for appetizer is a must. Many college kids make this place alive. If you are in the area of Phoenix, do yourself a favor and make a mandatory stop at 4 summits for good food, beer and atmosphere.
Pumpkin porter was a surprise beer at this time of year, but it's still great. As for the food, I loved the Bbq chicken pizza which was loaded with chicken and had just enough BBQ sauce as to not overwhelm the pizza. The salmon BLT also got good reviews. Pretty crowded at 7pm on weekday.
