Jd's Lounge At The Scottsdale Plaza Resort

We?ve been coming here for 15 years and have loved it. However, things have changed. Food menu has been cut to about a quarter of what it used to be, drinks are overpriced and smaller, room service was a pain to order half the time, pool is too cold in the SUMMER. Only saving grace was the staff and quality of the salon. Looking for a new place to getaway!

Terrible! I was a server myself, so I know the hustle and bustle. But the server was not attentive to our table. The drinks weren't the best, margaritas. I am not sure why this restaurant decided to put orange citrus in this drink,as a mixer? Confusing ingredient. Anyways, I ordered fish and chips for dinner. The description of it sounded great. But the presentation was a total failure. It looked like Gordon fish sticks. I would have been ashamed to offer this item.. it

The food and drinks are good but the service leaves something to be desired. It seems there is no management and the bartenders choose to close whenever they desire. They even decided to close 11pm NYE with 20 people still eating. Drinks are over priced. Better off going elsewhere and skipping the resort all together.

LOVED this place! The food was great, got a burger and the sirloin steak. Our waitress was Tracy both times we ate and she was awesome! She is extremely friendly, attentive and really makes you feel at ease like you know her. The whole staff does a wonderful job at making it a fun atmosphere. All smiles and inviting. Highly recommend!!!

I went to this restaurant on Thursday night for a reunion with a friend. The service was disorganized, with the staff yelling out drink orders for us to claim, and my appetizer came after my main course. My bill came to $64, but their handheld card reader wouldn't accept my card, so I had to pay in cash, incurring an additional fee. I didn't receive an itemized receipt and ended up giving the server a 20% tip in cash, only to realize later that I had actually given her 40% because she never mentioned that gratuity was included or provided me with a receipt. As a bartender/server myself, I would never leave the way she did.
