The food is consistently delicious, with the best hot dogs and chili around. Prices are reasonable, ranging from $15 to $25 per person, depending on your selections. They currently feature five signature meals, which is a nice touch. It’s a popular spot, so expect it to be busy and a bit crowded, and you may have to wait for your food. All in all, it's well worth it!
UPDATE 3-7-22: I stand by my original opinion. This place is fantastic! Initially, I thought I'd only try a couple of hot dogs, but I ended up going back for more. That really says something, considering the long line and extended wait time. But it was absolutely worth it. The energy here is amazing; it's always bustling. Make sure to come hungry and be ready to order more than one hot dog. You won't be disappointed. This spot is definitely on my list whenever I'm craving a great meal nearby.
I was pleasantly surprised by how excellent this place is; it runs like a well-oiled machine. My wife, who’s from Chicago, ordered the Chicago dog. She mentioned it was a bit on the small side, but still tasty. I opted for a cheeseburger, and it was quite good. Next time I visit, I plan to try some of the other menu options available. Also, don't miss out on the strawberry shortcake—it's fantastic! Overall, a great dining experience. Thank you, Portillo!
This location serves food as well as what I had in Chicago. The Italian beef was large and tasteful. My brother loved the Chicago dogs. Her crumbs were perfectly crispy and not too salty. These are so much better than pommes with potato skin.
Great place for Chicago grub. Chicago Dogs, Italian Beef, Italian Sausage and my favorite, The Combo.
