Sakana - Scottsdale

I really like this charming restaurant—it's perfect for a date night! Although it's small, there are tables available for families and larger groups. I enjoyed a few rolls that were beautifully presented. The service was good as well. However, I wasn't fond of the salads that came with the rolls, but I suppose that's just how they do it. Sakana is situated on a shopping street, and there's plenty of parking available nearby.

I was particularly impressed by the evening's special: the Sashimi Platter, which was priced at about $50. Everything was incredibly fresh. The service was good, and the wine was enjoyable as well. I loved watching the chef prepare our dish. Out of all the sushi places I've tried in Arizona so far, this has become my favorite.

Overall, it was a pretty good experience. The salmon nigiri was excellent, but the rolls were quite large. It felt very much like typical American sushi, and personally, I believe that bigger isn’t always better.

Absolutely amazing sushi and the prizes are unbeatable for the quality they? I get. the garlic parmesan edamame is to die.

This sushi is very good! Las Vegas roll was top notch shrimp tempura had a nice little spice all in all this joint is easily a giro sushi spot!
