If I had to sum up the Village Tavern in one word, it would be "classic." It's the kind of restaurant my grandfather would appreciate—elegant, traditional, and serving generous portions.

My wife and I have dined here many times, and we've always found the food to be delicious and expertly prepared, especially the onion soup. The steak au jus has consistently been excellent, as have the other dishes we've tried. While the service could use a little improvement, the staff has always been friendly and cheerful. We highly recommend this restaurant. Note: There is no parking available.

Food is always awesome here. Never had a bad meal here. Pricey but good.
