Amendola Deli-cious - Scranton

5 star lunch! I just ordered the Italian hoagie, and 2 cannoli's to split with my husband for lunch hands down, one of the best lunches I've had in Scranton in AGES! The hoagie we perfect bread had a good crust to it, but soft enough on inside, all meats and cheeses were flavorful, veggies were fresh. The cannoli's oh my goodness I'm currently enjoying it, and it has got to be one of the best cannoli's I've ever had. It's fresh, not soggy (like some places who make it the night before) hands down I'll be back!

Amazing food especially the ciabatt bread sandwichs, also their desserts are great. The staff are amazing and really show great pride in ownership. Always a treat to get Amendolas.

This place is a true hidden gem! If you enjoy Italian sandwiches, soups, salads, desserts, and coffee, you absolutely need to visit! You won't be disappointed! The cozy café offers indoor table seating, and they make you feel just like family. Today, I had the pasta e fagioli soup and an antipasto salad, accompanied by a mocha latte. The antipasto was so delicious that I brought a quart home with me! You really should check it out!

The staff were incredibly friendly, and the food was outstanding! I had a wonderful experience just grabbing sandwiches and soups for takeout. The quality was exceptional, and I definitely plan to try their cannoli and desserts on my next visit.

I visited this restaurant some time ago, and the food was incredible. Unfortunately, today they were closed due to a fire in the office. I hope they can reopen soon. I'm praying for them and for our country.
