Altana Restaurant-Hotel - Scuol

The restaurant in the homonymous hotel altana is just a few steps from the Scoul-Tarasp railway station.We stopped here on our home trip from South Tyrol via the passport. we enjoyed one of the day menus and were very satisfied from the price performance. even though only short lunches, the chef greeted us personally. the service was very friendly and speditive.We come back, also for a little longer.

We were looking for a nice light lunch but were rather disappointed as ill adviced by the staff with regard to the food which was served

We were there as a group and the selection from the small card was very large.I had a narrow-adher plate with cheese, buoyant meat, salsitz, speck, coppa and raw ham it was very large and excellent. also my colleagues were very satisfied with the service and eating. the service was friendly and fast.Can only be recommended again.

The good reviews here just let me close:The kitchen must have gotten a bad day, the chef too. 3x rindsfiletsteak bernaise ordered. service does not ask for desired level. 1x long hair on meat, sauce bernaise thick like pudding.After complaints in the service, the owner (also sits on a table) grants 10% discount on the entire consumption. does not consider it necessary, despite absolutely empty restaurant, to apologize personally.
