What a dump. Bacon and egger was ok. Hashbrown was meh.Coffee was terrible. I threw it out. Urinal was backed up. Though washroom was reasonable clean. Parking: good Service: Dine in Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: CA$1–10 Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2
I was very excited to see that there was an A&W near where I was running errands today because it’s my favourite fast food place. Unfortunately it sucked. The food was okay, but it’s a standard recipe, it’s not like they did anything special. In fact, it was a bit subpar because the onion rings were a bit oilier than usual but it’s fried food so I’ll give them a pass on that. The service is what ruined it for me. This location is so understaffed. There was one drive thru worker, one cash, and two in the kitchen. During the busiest part of the day (lunch), you’d think they would staff an extra person. But no. It took so long for my food to get done. My ice cold cup wasn’t even cold anymore. I had to rush my food, pretty much shoving everything down my throat to not be late for what I needed to do after. For context, I had well over half an hour when I walked in and ended up having to eat in five minutes. The staffing issues are definitely a managerial problem. Probably very cheap managers/franchisers that cut costs in any way possible. It’s crazy because one customer’s order would cover a worker’s pay for one hour. Kind of worth it for lunch, no? Never going here again.
Do not visit this restaurant if you want your food how you ordered it. I visited at lunch time with no other customers in line or in drive thru, when I arrived. I placed my order and waited, as I waited a few more guests arrived and placed their order. 3 guests that came after me were served their food and I was still waiting for mine. Turns out they gave my order to another guest, ok not a big deal, mistakes happen. They told me that my order would be ready in 1 minute. A total of 15 minutes until they brought me what was supposed to be my order, it was not. They managed to screw up the fix for my order, with no apology given either time. The employee could only stare at me and offered no solution. At this point I demanded a refund and left. Horrible customer service.
