Uncle Oogie's Pizza - SEA ISLE CITY

We liked the variety of vegan pizza options. the cheese was really creamy and was also a hit among non-vegans in our group. our favorite was the cheese steak pizza.

I was not allowed to give these 5 stars as the menu is not completely vegan. However, they have a nice offer of vegan choices - especially for a pizza place. we have the pomodoro, minus the oil, plus broccoli mushrooms. it was the best vegan pizza we ever had!

The only issue I have ever experienced at this restaurant is deciding between the buffalo or hot Hawaiian pizza with my partner. The Philly cheesesteak can sometimes be average elsewhere, but it is always excellent here.

I was very impressed by the wide variety of vegan pizzas, sandwiches, and salads available at this restaurant - there were so many options to choose from. The Follow Your Heart cheese was a tasty addition to my meal.

I had been craving a tasty Stromboli and decided to try this restaurant after hearing about it. I traveled to South Philly and ordered a Buffalo chicken cheesesteak, sausage, pepper, and onion Stromboli, along with some curly fries. I was really looking forward to my meal, but unfortunately, the chicken cheesesteak was very disappointing. It was tough and chewy, almost like rubber. I could only manage to take a few bites before giving up and throwing it away. I even tried to salvage it by adding extra Buffalo sauce and cheese, but it was still not good. The Stromboli was also lacking in flavor - there was no seasoning and the dough was not cooked properly. The bottom was overcooked while the top was undercooked. I thought a combination of bread, cheese, and sauce couldn't go wrong, but I was proven wrong in this case. I tried to improve it but ultimately had to throw it away as well. I had high hopes since I spent over $20 on both items. The only highlight of the meal was the curly fries, which were decent and seemed to be air fried. However, the portion size was disappointing for the price - just a small handful in a styrofoam container. At least I had the fries to console me for the rest of the disappointing meal. I really wish I had something positive to say about my experience, but unfortunately, it was quite underwhelming.
