Jr Steakhouse - Seaside Heights

Don't miss out on the best pizza I've ever tasted! During a weekend getaway, our friends recommended we visit the JR promenade, and I'm so glad we did. JR offers pizza from Maruca, perfect if you're looking for a satisfying meal. The crust is crisp but has that wonderful chewiness characteristic of good New York-style pizza. The sauce is sweet and slightly tangy, creating an absolutely delicious tomato pie. We also tried the Buffalo chicken and the Philly cheesesteaks. Both were hearty sandwiches filled with flavorful meat and well-cooked vegetables, striking just the right balance without going overboard.

I highly recommend Collen! It's a fantastic waterfront bar with excellent pizza. The music is awesome, featuring classic 70s rock! The atmosphere is very friendly. Be sure to try the cheesesteak egg rolls and the 24-inch cakes. Plus, it's connected to Maruca's Pizza, which has been around since 1950!

This is exactly what you hope to find when you visit the Jersey Shore. The cheese steak sandwich (not pictured) was fantastic, and the pizza was outstanding. The service was prompt and friendly. They treated me so well that I felt right at home, and I don’t think they even realized I was a visitor. I only wish I had a bigger appetite to try more of their delicious offerings!

At the sea Hieghts for Maruca's, which is at the same place as Jr's. Pizza, service and atmosphere were phenomenal!!! The 90-minute drive from Gloucester County. Originally, there was Food Channel's Man Vs Food Airing. Also the favorite of Jon Bon Jovi should be. The waitress told us that many famous people stopped on their pizza. Traditional...then crispy crust, tasteful sauce and delicious mozzarella resembles a fine pizza!!

Still here so many years. Has moved locations a few times over the years but is still standing strong. Great cheesesteak sandwich, sometimes you've just got to have one or two.
