Harumi - Seaside

I'm going to the Japanese restaurant around town. To be honest, I wouldn't go anywhere else if I wanted to fix my Japanese in the local area. Yes, there are other Japanese restaurants for others, but for locals this is the place. The food is fair, but the quality is definitely there. They serve a lot of food. The waiters and waiters were also great. Great ambience with great food. It can't get better.

During a visit to Monterey we came across the Japanese restaurant Harumi, we started with the tempura appetizer it was ok nothing special about it, and we ordered the deluxe sashimi and it was excellent. We had 3 reels of white dragons, kamikaze and the Megan reels. Nothing special about them. The rice fell apart, taste was blunt. It wasn't too impressed. In general, I give it 3 stars.

One of our regular places to go to Sushi. Dinner or lunch, you can't go wrong. Prompt Service, no matter how busy they are. Never waited more than 15 minutes from the order for our food. Many drinks options and the Dessert menu are also decent. Usually a lot too full to have room for it. Portions are generous. Slowly we work through the clamps. Hasn't had any bad experience yet. The servers are always pleasant and accommodating. Another thing I like about Harumi's is that the division of a cheque between several parties at a table is never a problem that is different from other restaurants here.

We ordered sushi online to take away. it was quite disappointing overall. the aromen was missing. when I went to pick up, it was a little early and the staff was friendly. the restaurant appeared clean. I don't think we're back.

Went for lunch the service was good and quick. I got the chirashi bowl with salad and miso soup. Both the salad and soup were great. The portion for the chirashi was good, but had a lot more rice than what seemed necessary and the rice didn't seem super fresh. The fish, however, was fresh and the bowl came with 6 types of sashimi and a total of ~13 prices. Overall, I would recommend checking it out.
