While it is good, it's not exceptional. What really sets this place apart is the ambiance and the attentive wait staff. Unlike many modern, minimalist restaurants or generic corporate chain steakhouses, Bizzarro has a unique and eclectic decor that includes a variety of art pieces hanging from the ceiling. The background music adds to the fun atmosphere, and even the bathroom has a quirky touch with a radio playing different music from the dining room. The staff are also very engaging and have a lot of personality. Overall, if you're in Seattle and looking for a different dining experience, Bizzarro is definitely worth a visit.
The food at this restaurant is excellent! The atmosphere is great, our server was fantastic and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend trying out this restaurant next time you're in Seattle! I can't wait to come back again!
One dish we tried was the Arancini, which are saffron infused risotto balls stuffed with fontina cheese, breaded, quick fried, and served on smokey marinara. The fontina cheese melted out of them, making them quite tasty. The Spring Beet Salad was a standout, with wild greens, roasted beets, spicy candied walnuts, and Gorgonzola crumbles in a blood orange vinaigrette dressing. The combination of flavors was delicious, and even though I am not a huge fan of Gorgonzola, it worked perfectly with the other ingredients. The Forest Floor Frenzy dish featured wild mushrooms and walnuts foraged from the woods, combined with a cream Sherry sauce and house made Pappardelle Ribbon pasta. As a mushroom lover, this dish was a perfect choice for me. The cream Sherry sauce added a beautiful depth to the dish. The Sugar Snap Pea Carbonara was a traditional dish with fried house cured pancetta, chicken stock, egg, and Parmesan, with sugar snap peas tossed with hand made linguini pasta. This was my favorite dish of the night, with the fresh and light peas adding a wonderful touch to the classic carbonara. Finally, we tried the Tiramisu for dessert, which was described as incredible. It had everything that was desired in a Tiramisu, although it was a bit denser than expected. Overall, it was a 10/10 experience, and I will definitely be returning for more in the future.
I have been trying from past two years to visit this place. It usually has a long wait list. Finally was able to get a table. Trick just go early around 6 PM. I was a bit apprehensive about the menu options since I'm a vegetarian. Ordered a gnocchi dish and a banana coconut pie. Best food I have had. Gnocchi was soft and the parmesan sauce was smooth. The pie was a tad sweet but good. Worth the you spend. Definitely recommend.
Truly Bizzaro! If you don't like clowns....excellent food. Great wait staff.
