Feedback gevenIn brief, the sandwiches at this restaurant were excellent, with the shrimp po'boy being a standout due to its perfect seasoning. The French fries were also delicious. The atmosphere was lovely, though a bit lacking in character. The beer and drink specials should be displayed more prominently, either on a larger chalkboard or a printed menu at each table. There was a discrepancy between the appetizers, which were beautifully presented on white plates, and the sandwiches, which were wrapped in white butcher paper and lacked a plate. The staff was friendly and accommodating during our visit on a Tuesday at noon. Despite a mix-up with our order of oysters, we enjoyed a well-prepared fried green tomato, a fried oyster po'boy, and a fried shrimp po'boy sandwich without mayo. When we realized the oysters were unavailable, we opted for the shrimp po'boy instead. Although both sandwiches came with mayo, the mistake was quickly rectified by the staff. One sandwich was also comped on our bill to make up for the error. Overall, we were satisfied with our experience, and my wife particularly enjoyed the hot sauce.
I highly recommend this restaurant. As someone from Louisiana, I can confirm that it closely resembles the flavors of home. The shrimp Po'boy was delicious, made with authentic Po'boy bread, and the etouffee was spot on.
