The hospitality was top notch and our servers were highly informative and cheerful. We got a seasonal strawberry shrub and a pilsner. The shrub was terrific and full with summer vibes. We then ordered the day’s specials in prawns and bacon and onion pizza with seasonal toppings coppa and mountain garlic. We also got a salad. The prawns were delicious and cooked amazingly well even with the shells present. The pizza sauce was tasty and the seasonal toppings made it better. The cheese grated on the salad was phenomenal. 10/10
Best quality pizza I’ve found in Seattle so far, but service is severely lacking. The waiter seemed annoyed with any question we had clarifying on the menu and seemed outraged when we asked if build-your-own pie was an option. Our table was nestled in between two others which had very attentive service, but we were ignored for 20 minutes and had to flag down our waiter to get our check. Not sure if the treatment was due to the mandatory 20% service fee or because we were the only POC in the establishment.
This small restaurant serves my favorite wood-fire pizza in Seattle as well as a great list of wine options. We came on a Sunday evening and were seated after about a 30 minute wait but I've seen very crowded on other nights so I usually try to do carry-out or arrive right when they open.We tried the meatball appetizer at the waitress's recommendation and they were so moist and delicious! The pizza was crisp with a nice smokiness from the wood-fire oven and the toppings were abundant. You really can't go wrong ordering any of the pizzas.Street parking only in this area but you can usually find a spot within a couple blocks.
Come for the pizza, but stay for the apps. I personally enjoy Burrata SO much, but this pesto that came alongside was amazing we dipped everything in it. This was one of the better PNW pizzas my partner and I have had, but for the price point a little uninspired. We got the Brooklyn and it was closer to a NYC slice, but still like a 7.5/10 for pizza, globally speaking, a Seattle 9/10. I know with inflation everything’s a lot right now, but burrata, meatballs, 2 beverages (oneAlcoholic) and a pizza totaling to $100 feels a bit much to me. However, service was very attentive and I plan to go back and get the very impressive looking mound of salad.Vegetarian options: Definitely a vegetarian friendly spot.
Best pizzas in Seattle. However, no online ordering of takeout and no one answers the phone for takeout orders. Come on Delancey, you can afford to have online takeout ordering.I would sit and eat here if I could. Unfortunately, it is not always possible with a kid in tow.
