I have gone here a lot over the past couple years. The salmon gyro always tastes very metallic. the roast lamb gyro is a hit or miss. I think it depends on who is cooking. But the last time I got the lamb gyro there were chucks of chewy meat very thick strings of fat, that couldn’t be swallowed was so off putting that I don’t think I will ever go back. The size of the gyros has gotten smaller, the quality of the food hasn’t gotten better. Like i said I think it depends on the cook, cause there’s are times I’ve gone and been very pleased, but due to the inconsistency, my last experience, I don’t think I’ll be spending my money here again. The service is usually good but I’ve never dined in don’t know what the service is like in that regard.
I will not eat here again. Their only hot sauce was packaged Redhot (authentic restaurants make their own). The chicken was just okay. The falafels were dry, basically large spheres of flavored dough (falafel should taste like fava beans/chick peas and herbs, not dry cooked flour). Their fries and pita bread were good. Their rice was flavored, and grilled vegetables were okay but tasted like they might have been grilled on the same grill as meats (note for vegetarians/vegans). The entrees were not served with enough dressing (e.g. tzatziki), and without authentic sauces, food tasted bland/dry. Lastly, the prices were just too high for (below-)average food.
Great place for a quick meal. Portions are large, enough for two meals. Their pita is wonderful, and grat hummus. Highly recommend for vegetarians.Food: 4/5
Kinda weird how this place is still in business. Both items I received were not good. We were super excited for some gyros and found this place just a couple blocks away. Ordered the roast lamb bowl and a chicken gyro combo. The chicken was dry and unseasoned, same with the roast lamb. The combo was almost 18 dollars and included the chicken gyro, small box of fries with feta sprinkled on top, and a small box of greens with the feta as well. Just a total ripoff. Looked like something that would have come out of my kitchen if I attempted Greek food
