The dumplings are seasoned well and the dumpling filling is seasoned amazingly well and the portion size is decent. The smell of the food when I got in the car is an experience to remember
It was great. It actually has good beer now too. My wife and I were bar-hopping in Fremont and went there for food. We ended up staying for a while because the atmosphere and drink selection is also good.Food: 5/5
Dumplings were good and they have good options but the salad no much (our fault)Beer's price is algo good (4usd per can)If you are looking for a place with beer and food, this could be the place
Tasty, quick service lots of seating. First time sampled 2 dumplings traditional and spicy, both small sizes great for bites, the carrot salad was perfect accompaniment tangy dressing and be try fresh.Next time will try the “new” tater tots!Oh, rack with old school games -ginga, scrabble and I hear Thursdays are “quiz nite” and karaoke
Friendly staff, good selection, unique dumpling dishes. I only have one visit to judge and got their Classic; pricing encourages getting the largest size possible, but Medium was sufficient for one person. Two people could share a Large.Although the Classic wasn't completely to my liking, I chalk that up to my tastes and not anything to do with the dish itself. The sour cream provided a nice counter to the curry powder slightly hot juices. The dumpling themselves were pleasant. Each dumpling is about the size of a curled-up thumb or perhaps half a traditional Gyoza. Popcorn Dumplings? You get the idea!I would like to visit again with a more empty stomach and try different flavors. There were other dishes available that seemed a bit much for me but didn't seem like traditional fare, which is a plus. I came during the day; there's a bar, so the night scene around here may be healthy.Kid-friendliness: During the day, it should be OK to order on the side and eat outside to avoid the bar area. A Small Dumplings would be more than enough for a kid, but this would be a delicacy. The dishes feel more aimed at the college food truck crowd.Parking: Fremont is densely packed, so you might need to park a little bit away to reach here. North alongside Fremont Ave is plenty of street parking for 2 hours. Trickier on side streets.
