You also have to pay a day membership to dine there. Bring cash for membership fee. This place is quite causal. There is a bar in the corner of the restaurant and you can get a variety of drinks. You order at the bar and not with the waitress.Food was delicious. I added mushroom gravy on my dish and so glad I did. The gravy was quite flavorful. The platter is probably a good choice to try a little bit of everything. The two lagers we got were a good pairing.
I freaking love this place. Have been coming with my friends for years. The food is stellar, and just what you'd expect to find at a restaurant in Poland. You pay $1 for a day membership to come into the community center, there is a bar where you can have imported beers, liquors, and all the regular fixings for drinks, and order at your table for the food you want. If you're wanting to try Polish cuisine, this is the spot!! Cards and cash accepted.Parking: Lot next door is open to use so long as you are a paying customer.
Not too long ago I went to Poland for the first time and absolutely fell in love with it. This food was delightfully authentic and made me feel like I was sitting back in Stare Miasto in Kraków. It was delicious, the service excellent, and the prices reasonable.Food: 5/5
I ordered the snitchel plate plus borst and extremely underwhelmed. There was no gravy or even mustard. The sourkraut was about 2 tablespoons serving for the whole dish and no red cabbage or gravy/mustard like the pictures from reviews showed. The borst was weird. The beet broth pickled the little dumplings inside and they were weird and very dense from being pickled- didnt seem fresh. The schnitzel was just a fried patty alone with no personality and dry. Again no gravy or anything. I told the gal when I ordered that it was my first time eating there so I would hope that I would be offered options like mustard and gravy. I didn't like the other items on plate either. I ordered to go so I had no idea until I got home. There is no option to email Sebi's directly so guess public is my option. $35 on food I will not eat. ? Never coming back...
Get the Schnitzel Platter! It's got a good taste of their signature items. I'd order it again. Minimal service staff, but didn't feel ignored or rushed on a busy Saturday. Figuring out when this place will be open is not an easy task. This was my first visit, after months of trying. Call ahead to ensure they will be open on the night you want to go. Days/hours of service listed on Google, their website, and menu differ, and they are often closed for special events, vacation, etc. That said, I'll be back. I live a block away and wish they were open more days... or that they would sell some of their items (perogies, stuffed cabbage, smoked kielbasa, etc. in bulk to be warmed up at home. Good stuff, just limited hours.
