Amazing subcontinent kitchen in house style. Basically run by a man and woman team, with her most do everything and he served her food with a grandson on his cup. The jug didn't matter because her cooking was worth it. I told my crew of the Get-Go that we don't expect our entrees to sit for at least 20-30 minutes. It was certainly so close to sitting in her house - with her that makes our dinner in her kitchen - as we could get. Her food was wonderful and traditional. The use of ghee in her sauces was absolutely obvious in taste and made every bite a hearty moment. Her veg pakoras were perfectly cooked. At first glance they looked hard and crispy, but in fact were soft and melted in your unworthy mouth. Guess there is a bit of a dive, and there is no obligatory lunch buffet option. If I ever met the lottery, I would pay a Sultanate's ransom so that this woman is my personal chef...
Great food!. My friend and I landed and starved. We were happy to find a place so close to the airport that was our combined nutritional needs (gluten free and vegan) and double plus it was Indian (one of our favorites). The staff was friendly and the food was delicious! In any case, friends will have to travel to Seattle (and those I know in Seattle) about this hidden gem!
Refused to deliver. At first they said they would deliver (Web site says they do), but then said they had nver heard of my hotel (Radisson Seatac), then said it was too far away (it's two blocks away), and then said they didn't want to deliver unless I was willing to commit to spending $40. After fifteen minutes on the phone I finally said I'll just go somewhere where they want my business. Too bad, because the food is good, but this person on the phone was rude and clearly had no interest in providing any service.
This is a great place! The food tastes wonderful; my favorite is probably the lamb curry. We went there during a snow storm, as they were the only place open, and had awesome service. We've been multiple times and have never been disappointed. Friendly service. Good food.
