We were waiting to order food but we’re not asked what we wanted. There seemed to be some issue between the 2 polar opposite bar tenders. One exceptional young man was helpful and gracious and seemed to grasp the notion of customer service. The other individual, I hope isn’t the manager, needs a refresher course. I understand people all have things they are dealing with, but the individual who chastised his co worker about leaving silverware when presenting food in front of guests is certainly not a person of quality. As my girlfriend and I chatted with the only other patron at the bar, this bartender interjected himself into our conversation. I’m a 58 year old white male and my girlfriend is a younger woman of color. This bartender looked right at her and said “we’re not that kind of bar”. Thus things became tense! When we requested the other fellow, this clown said he sent him home. My girl friend clearly upset about previous comments told him she didn’t like his attitude. That’s when he presented us the check. No explanation and sarcastically polite. I understand establishments have the right to refuse service but we did nothing to deserve how we were treated. We chose to leave and once again received sarcastic pleasantries. I’m glad you came through Covid in such a fine fashion that you can treat people in a a demeaning racist way and stay in business. Sorry, can’t rate the food, for we were not offered any.
The food was fantastic. However, the service felt judgmental, and there was little interaction beyond the bare essentials. It seemed like the staff took offense at something, though I'm not sure what it was. As for the food, I ordered the avocado toast, which had a Benedict twist. It looked great and tasted even better.
The burgers are fantastic, but they're definitely on the pricier side, which is why I didn't give it a full five stars. Also, there's no table service at the moment.
I really like this place for brunch! The breakfast sando is straightforward and tasty. The breakfast potatoes are very yummy and service is friendly. If there is a game on it’s sure to be packed to plan accordingly. Also looks like there’s a nice patio area although I have yet to eat out there.
I had one simple request, to turn on the sound on one of the televisions in the back so I could watch the Steelers game on Christmas Eve. There was hardly anyone there. But the snippy staff member said no, house rules, the management only turns on the sound for Seahawks games . He was pretty inflexible. So I left. Apparently they don 't need my business or my 20% tips. I got this rude and dismissive treatment before from these people. There 's any number of sports bars that are more welcoming, but most were closed on Christmas Eve, so I hoped that things might have changed in the year since my last visit, when they turned away a party of five. No dice. The Bridge will never get my business again.
