We tried veggie potstickers, sweet potato fries, sichuan eggplant, Singapore laksa, and jasmine rice. The potstickers were excellent, crispy and flavorful with a tasty ginger garlic dipping sauce. The sweet potato fries were well cooked but came in a small portion. The sichuan eggplant was delicious, similar to Bamboo's recipe. The laksa had a nice broth but lacked tofu and vegetables, and the egg was missing but was promptly replaced by the server. The rice was standard. Service was good, although there was a delay in getting our food. The restaurant has a beautiful interior. Overall, a good dinner experience. Next time, I would try the drunken noodles instead.
Awesome food, awesome drinks, awesome service! Not your typical Chinese restaurant, feels very Sonoma County and that's a good thing! Food tastes clean and fresh which is essential for my Chinese food likings. This place does fill up fast and is often busy but I wouldn't hesitate to come here! I especially love the edamame as an appetizer but their veggie and meat potstickers and pork buns are a hit and all of their entrees are delicious that I've tried. Tons of veggie options, I mostly eat vegetarian so I am always thankful for the option!
I was craving this kind of Chinese food that's sort of in between fully Americanized and more authentically Chinese food and got Sweet and Sour Eggplant and Tofu, vegetable chow mein and shiitake mushroom, snap peas and broccoli. When I opened the Eggplant Tofu dish I though they must have made it wrong because it looked like deep-fried chicken, and that's bad because I'm vegetarian! Even when I cut open it looked ambiguously like flesh. But upon close inspection I saw seeds and tasted it to find out it was actually deep fried eggplant! GENIUS!! So surprised and impressed that they took that iconical American-Chinese deep fried sweet and sour dish and made it vegetarian. It's not the very best Chinese food I've ever had but it was exactly what I wanted tonight and because of that eggplant surprise I just had to leave a review!
Super friendly staff and service was great. I tried the bird's nest sea food medley and it was so good I went back for a second time. The dish is very unique and tastes as good as it looks.
Great tasting quality food. I love that szechuan suace.
