Seems like no one runs the place, no clear managers, cooks just texting away on their phones during service. Probably won’t be back
Great food and wonderful service Don’t know why only a few seats at sushi bar available to sit at (most were closed off) Meant we couldn’t watch sushi being prepared
Fine Japanese dining. Seaweed salad, mushroom salad, miso soup, sashimi plate, salmon skin roll, and nigiri selections all excellent very fresh and well prepared. Lovely recommended bottle of cold sake. Attentive friendly servers there when we needed them, not when we didn’t. We will return.
I probably won’t come back. We had a reservation, were going to a movie after dinner so we had time in the back of our minds, and were offered our choice of tables. We chose one then were asked by another server to choose another because they had to get it ready for us. Ultimately we were given that one, without a complaint from us, but we were not served until others who came in after us were helped. We waited a long time to order, were given warm tap water to drink, wine was brought even later, and food was good but not worth the aggravation.
On a hot night, sushi is a great choice for dinner, but not many places are open on a Monday night. We tried Sushi Kosho for the first time and it wasn't very busy so were seated right away. We ordered some beverages (good size menu of beers, sake and wines and dove into the menu. Not as many specialty rolls as some sushi places, but we liked both the Maguro Shiso and Doubledown rolls as well as some nigiri. Nigiri was a good portion and fresh rice was minimal (yay! but not tightly packed so fell apart when picking up the nigiri or dipping it. Especially enjoyed the Sake and Hotate. Hawaiian Poke bowl looked really good next time.
