Bayview Szechuan Chinese Restaurant

This restaurant serves traditional Chinese dishes that remind me of the food I ate growing up. While it may not be anything extraordinary, there are times when I really crave it.

There must be no mistake, but unless it has recently improved, this place is terrible.

This Chinese buffet is definitely one of the best I've ever been to! The secret is that Eddie's dad cooks small portions and constantly refills the buffet throughout the night.

I went with a friend of mine to the Bayview and I couldn't believe how dirty the walls and windows of the restaurant were. The plates and silverware were at least clean which they have had problems with in the past. The food was luke warm at the buffet even at 5:30 which is close to the dinner rush.All in all it was not a pleasant experience. The owner seemed really nice, but I don't suggest people go there.

"This is NOT the place to go for decent Chinese food in Sechelt. The whole place looks dirty, kitchen is unsanitary, and the food is mediocre at best. One, it was okay, but service and quality have gone downhill badly in recent years, up to 2017."
