Mesa Grill Sedona

Very down to earth, friendly place with great food! Our service was very good and our meals were outstanding! We had the blackened salmon and Southwest penne pasta. We shared the crab cakes appetizer, drank the Malbec and Cabernet wines, and finished with salted Carmel ice cream for dessert.

Ate there with my family, including my 3 and 5 year olds. They loved watching the planes, and we got lucky and watched a lightning storm rolling in which was extra spectacular given the expansive view from anywhere in this restaurant! The food was excellent, and a huge drink selection at the bar. Great local choices for wines and beer; get a flight and pick your favorite! Our waitress (Cindy was great, too, was very helpful in explaining our choices and portion sizes, and was especially courteous with our rambunctious children. Sometimes we 're hesistant bringing our kids with us to a new place, not knowing how they receive children... but no problem here! They were very accommodating and welcoming to having our entire family eat together without issue : The children 's menu has some of the 'normal ' choices (chicken fingers, etc that you find on most menus, but they also have some unique choices as well, such as jicama and carrots. Refreshing to see new and exciting things for the kids! I had the blackened salmon, which was cooked right and tasted great. My wife had an eggplant and portabella mushroom dish which she thoroughly enjoyed! The side of ear of corn with pinto beans was excellent as well cooked and seasoned well. We returned for carry out... had an omelet for breakfast from here this morning, also wonderful! We 're looking forward to our next trip to Sedona and we 'll definitely eat here again.

Where to start...Mesa Grill checked off every box for us! Great food, great service and the views are amazing. A complete 360° view of the mountains. We had the brisket with eggs and the lemon french toast. Finished that up with a great cup of coffee and memosas. Couldn’t have asked for a better breakfast experience.

Food was amazing, had the Snapper fish sandwich, never in my life have I had a meal like this, wife had the Southwestern Chicken Penne, off the hook, daughter had Black Bean Veggie burger with no bun, I was jealous of her meal, looked and tasted fantastic, a must have if in Sedona! Don't forget the Salted Carmel Gelato or the Raspberry Sorbet for desert.

This is really a nice place to eat. The food is fantastic. The patio this time of year is so inviting. And watching the planes take off, well it was really enjoyable. The wait staff is just wonderful, all of them. I just don't have a bad thing to say. They were wonderful. It's really a special place to eat. You'll be glad you did.
