This man really tries to sell you a timeshare. But if you can successfully refuse it and continue your jaunt through the labyrinth of the shops, you can accidentally run to a small place called Sally's Mesquite Grill and BBQ. It is a bit hard to find behind some of the branches, but you will know that you have arrived when you are in a window front greeted by a very beautiful Canadian ex-patriot wearing a 1984 Canadian football league championship ring. He and his wife possess the joint. The walls are decorated with hundreds of pictures by previous customers on a variety of smoked ribs, pulled pork, brisket and other fantastic BBQ’d meat. My wife and I were hungry, but not too hungry, so we decided to share only one meal. About $11.00 later we received a basket containing a pulled pork sandwich, Koleslaw and 2 drinks. Getting the food is kind of unpleasant as there are signs everywhere that tell you what you are and should not do. Such shields include: “Don’t leave your money on the vault or it will blow away”, “Don’t get out of the door, it will open”, “Go inside” and “Don’t throw your baskets away”. After we had inevitably crushed almost all these commandments, we finally had to sit down and share this meal. The sandwich proportion was extremely small, but what it lacked in size made it in taste. The sauce she poured over the meat contained an amazing mix of spices that exploded with taste and you with a little heat as you finish. The pig was extremely moist and cooked masterfully for perfection. The Koleslaw could have used a little more vinegar, but was not bad. Would I pay again? Maybe, but I wouldn't share it with my wife, there wasn't enough food on the plate for both of us. I'm sorry, Babe.
