We had them split the plate for us; it's an addition $6 but it comes on a bed of cheesy grits, shaved sauteed sweet carrots, and arugula; all floating in a bed of a wonderful sauce; not overly rich. Looked gorgeous and was very satisfying for two.
Since last year he was on the hill. the whole food was fantastic last year. I ordered dee filled cauliflowers. They were hard as a rock, so delicious. the sose and the polnta were eating. my wife fish was very good. service was slow and not attentive. it seems as if polnta came together with everything.
I absolutely love this place! This was our third visit, and this time we came with family. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the food, service, and atmosphere. The diver scallops were to die for—perfectly seared—and the flat iron steak has become a favorite of mine. The osso buco was sublime. It was amazing to watch someone at a neighboring table who devoured their meal without a word between bites! We couldn't manage dessert this time. My sister-in-law was surprised when I shared my scallops with her, but I promised to only give her one (there are four), encouraging her to order her own, and we both ended up thrilled! The beer on tap is fantastic, and they have a solid wine list. The restaurant is now called Serenitie but maintains the same fabulous menu, plus they've added a burger bar in the bar area. The burgers are fantastic too—a smoked brisket burger made with Angus beef.
The bartender's service was disappointing. My dirty gin martini was served with a lemon twist, and when I returned it, he removed the twist with his fingers, added an olive, and sent it back to me! The Manhattan I ordered was the most watered-down drink I've ever had. However, the scallops and pork osso buco were quite good, and the table service was attentive. Overall, there are much better options nearby.
The food was delicious, especially the appetizers. I highly recommend it! Although it's a bit pricey, it's definitely worth the money.
