Kind of bland over all; not much in the way of decor or ombiance. Huge open room with white walls. No booths, tables only. Slightly awkward when you walk in and everyone in the restaurant turns around and stares.Seat yourself style.Service was very fast but very transactional.I ordered French Toast (4 , 3 OE eggs (2.5 bland and the whites were still very runny inside , 2 links (3 and 2 strips of bacon (5 .My husband ordered the biscuits and gravy (2.5 gravy pretty bland, biscuits were pretty dry and didn't absorb the gravy that well .This was our 2nd venture to this location. Probably will not return.Kid friendliness: Kids menu availableWheelchair accessibility: One story, all tables
The owner, Jamie is amazing. I left my wallet at home and she trusted me to come back to pay. I love everything about this place other than the service. Our waitress, Krystal was not pleasant at all. Very short and non friendly. Didn't warn us that our son's plate was very hot. And never came back around to see if we needed more coffee or anything. But was bickering about her job with a table next to us. When I come back I hope I don't get stuck with her serving us again.
Went over the 4th of July weekend at dads request since they live in the South Sound and loved it the first time. Service was great, not too busy. Dad got the same as last time but said it was different but he still liked it. I dont remember what mom got cause I was in Awe of mine. The chicken fride steak was yummy. I got the big one to take half to my boyfriend but he got more than half, this was huge and oh so good! Can't wait to try lunch.. gave 4 stars for atmosphere only because i wished for booths
Cafes are the hometown spirit of any heartland American town. I have visited every state in the union and seek out the comfort of a good cafe each time. Bonnie Jo's is the place in Skagit County to eat breakfast and lunch. Good food, good variety, good management, and great atmosphere always! Jamie and Darla complete the perfect hometown cafe with an interest in every patron. I always feel appreciated.
