The Pinewoods - Sefton

We love dining at Pinewoods for their diverse food selection and watching sports on TV. However, we find the drink prices to be too steep for our budget. The prices are even higher than those on P and O cruise ships.

We stumbled upon this pub by accident while searching for Formby Point and were in need of a meal. Seeing a sign for the pinewoods, we decided to stop in and have a drink. After perusing the menu, we placed our order and were pleasantly surprised by the delicious food. The quality exceeded our expectations and rivaled that of many top restaurants. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, making for a great dining experience to end our holiday. A big thank you to everyone involved.

I am a part-time formby resident my girlfriend lives right around the corner of the pinewoods in the last months we were here twice and had happy food and service. for the first time we have put a bad day, but on Saturday we met friends here to dinner and it was terrible. we ordered drinks at the bar and were met with absolute interest. the barmann seemed more interested in serving with his friends at the end of the bar than men. I felt like I was more of an inconvenience than a customer. our friends also commented on this (we are all quite social, polite people.) I know that it was busy, but, hey a little hospitable in the hospitality industry should be expected? we ordered our food on the app and waited and waited. then we waited even more with more rounds of diligently served drinks. After an hour, we asked if the food order had only been received to say that it would take at least one more minute." After about one hour and twenty minutes, both tables of food were delivered. eating was incredibly bad quality I had ordered some small teller chicken wings, goujons and jäger chips, all were poor quality than an island special deal and was deep-fried with in a customs of their life. my friend had the fake steak pee, it was terrible. our friends and their children were just as bad. I ate in the ground a few mouthful eating that no one asked how it was, and frankly, we realized that it wasn't worth complaining, as the staff wasn't interested in not even asking how it was eating, how it was clearing away whole teller. Moreover, we had simply lost the will to live after the stupid long wait. I'm sad, as this could be a great local pub, it's just a short walk away for us, but I doubt we're disturbing again.

Today the family called together to wait for the food and then it was missing and then the gloomy time we waited and again the children gloomy lacked portion sizes were tiny on all meals, but we got one. on the tweeper rings. the personal apologised for waiting, but I don't think I'll go back. it's a shame because it was so nice in the past.

We have enjoyed the pinewoods for the last two years, but tonight a Shambles staff was as miserable as the sin felt as if I exhibited them to eat drinks over an hour and a half taken to not apologize and complete lack of...customer service I hate to do bad referents, but please youngs sort their staff from their customers industry. we will not be back for a past and I am appalled to come twice a month
