Primo Tradizione Gastronomica Italiana

Had dinner here one night while staying at the connected hotel. Forget the artistic professional pictures, the place is like a barn or a works canteen, and a quiet one at that. Service was casual and off-hand, and the menu very limited. Even the dishes they have on offer they do not do well. I ordered tagliatelle bolognaise and it is probably the most disappointing, tasteless bolognaise i have ever tasted. Aside from being cold (there was some residual heat int he middle so clearly it had been sitting on the pass for a while) there was little sauce and even less meat. The meat smelt like it had come out of a tin. Having finished that, I was still hungry but the staff did not even bother to offer me another look at the menu. Either totally disinterested, or used to the fact that after one plate there, people don't go back for more. Overall a very disappointing experience with nothing to recommend it.

With a small selection of dishes, they still managed not to have half the dishes. Our meal came after 45 minutes and shockingly it wasn 't good from an over salted rissoto to a bland bolognase. The roasted chicken was nice. Note that I wouldn 't usually order this dishes but it seemed to be the only dishes they had. Do your best to somehow eat somewhere else.

Nice interior and friendly staff, but that's it. And that about says it; the english menu wasn't ready, the food was cold table next to us also returned the full plates , starters had no flavor not enough herbs, seasoning, just very salt! , just bland pasta with some bacon on it. The main mixed grill for two was just some chunks of meat, again no herbs, no exciting flavours, plain boring! Good words too, the wine list is vast and very reasonably priced. And the staff are friendly and well trained, but the food is what you go to a restaurant for and that was far below average. :

I was 1 night in the hotel. see the bad reviews of others looking for a restaurant near. but on Friday evening all 3 restaurants around the clock were closed! So went back to have my lunch here. Maybe I had luck, not many guests in the restaurant. I didn't have to wait too long for the waiter to see me. he was friendly, took my order, recommended a beer and after less than 15 minutes. I got my food and drink. the pizza 4-season was good. not perfect, but for 10€ completely okay. the red IPA beer for me what I like. for this I would give 1 to cut: the room or better the hall of the restaurant is huge, open and cold echoes as in a railway station. furniture like the Playmobil designer. the cleaning of the tables, after the departure, took very long. in the morning the picture got worse. the restaurant is also an breakfast room of the fasthotel linate. but this story should be told in the hotel review.
