I came to Domaine des Cabasse for a private event over the entire weekend! The view from the Domaine is really very beautiful. Inside, however, everything is far from perfect: Bed linen is provided for €10/person, I would have been better off bringing the sheets back, the bed wasn't made anyway! Linen for the showers is not provided, and this seems normal since we did not reserve it (given the price), however, there were no shower mats either, really not practical for getting out of the shower, especially in the middle of winter when the ground is frozen... The dishes (cutlery, plates, dishes, glasses) were dirty, it's a real shame to have to rewash everything before use... Our friends tell us that they have to pay for electricity with a meter reading, the first time I have seen this... It's a real shame because the place is very nice except for a few details. We discovered the Domaine de Cabasse during a dinner during our vacation, the place is magnificent and the welcome from the new owners was very warm. With Mauritian dishes on the menu which were delicious, all accompanied by an exceptional wine! I recommend Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Great view, Romantic, Quiet, Kid-friendly, Great value
Very good value for money The menu of the day is of very good quality Finally a restaurant that offers good fresh vegetables as an accompaniment A la carte dishes too A flat on the rosé which was not to our taste The estate's white is much better but once again it's all a matter of taste
What a shame this change of ownership... this establishment should be avoided. Everything is done to scam you: we rented the gîte with friends for 50 people. A mandatory cleaning fee of €500, ok. But when we learn from the inventory of fixtures at entry that this household ONLY includes the rooms we are immediately disillusioned. Apparently it's written in the contract... too bad we didn't re read this contract straight away because it was clearly stated that it also included floors, furniture etc etc... 10€ per person for bed linen placed on the bed: per person and not per bed yes yes 20€ for a double bed and 10€ for a single bed and then if you ever have the misfortune to ask not to do not pay for unused linen, be careful, you will be received by the owner who will treat you like cattle (not to be vulgar). Oh yes, we’ll come back to customer service. In addition, as we pay for electricity by the actual meter (read the figures in the entry and exit inventory), we arrive in a freezing gîte (month of December) and 2 old air conditioning units to heat 2 large rooms work poorly . As a result, we were cold all weekend and we paid a lot of money... I will skip the details of the clogged showers in the rooms, the hot water that takes forever to come, the waste still in the sink, the sticky bar, the faulty heating in several rooms, the very dirty dishes (really disgusting) . Finally, the lodge doesn't close and the gardeners arrive at 9 a.m. to collect the leaves... it's annoying. PS: don't be in too much of a hurry to collect your deposit check, 11 days instead of the 7 max indicated on the contract. Rooms: 2 Service: 1 Location: 5
