I have been going here since Lynn and Will took over. I thought the previous owners did good fish and chips, but not a patch on the current service. Best fish and chips for miles around. Always fresh, well cooked with a friendly service. Keep it up.

Sadly, Tripadvisor won't let me add The Fat Fryer, but it's fab. Great value, and the fishcake, chips mushy peas I had was superb. The best chips for miles around. The new owners have done Wistow proud.

Always freshly cooked, very large portions. Cooked to perfection. Friendly staff, 5 star service and 5 star food, guaranteed.

Our local Chippy here in Wistow has just got better and better over the past couple of years to the point that we and many others believe it to be the best for miles around and the queues seem to prove it. Huge portions, beautifully cooked Fish and Chips, scraps, mushy peas and a chip shop pickled onion Couldn’t be better
