The George Inn Pub - Selby

The Londesborough Arms Hotel is located on Market Cross, right next to the Abbey. There is parking available at the back of the building. The hotel is housed in a beautiful building that used to be a coaching inn called the George 200 years ago. It was later renamed after Lord Londesborough when he became Selby's Lord Mayor. The interior has recently been renovated and is clean and spacious. The hotel offers bed and breakfast accommodation and function facilities. There are two bars and a fantastic restaurant that is open to both guests and non-guests. A well-maintained beer garden is also available on the side. Additionally, the hotel has a popular night club called Kans, which is open from Thursday to Sunday and is a hit with the locals.

During a long cycling journey across the UK, my travel companion and I stopped for lunch at a pub. Although it is part of a chain, I couldn't quite determine which one. The food offered was typical pub fare at a reasonable price. We were extremely hungry and felt like royalty after our meal. The service was excellent and the view was lovely. If I lived in Selby, I would definitely frequent this pub. It is more pleasant than your average Wetherspoons and has a relaxed ambiance, although I can imagine it gets lively on a Friday night. The food is satisfactory and serves its purpose. If you're searching for a gourmet meal, this might not be the place for you. However, if you're in the mood for a burger, chips, and a pint, this pub is the perfect spot.

Friday night. very nice room. clean and comfortable. the personal was very helpful. morning breakfast hugh. the 5 pounds worth it.

Looks great in the kitchen was nice too they said, all out of the kitchen the young ladies, the service manager went over today when the gas went today a pub full of people drinking a Christmas party but these two could not have done anymore, are also a good one that I hope the manager will give them the praise they deserve.

I have booked this place as it was 15 minutes from the renntag of my mannes in leeds. great room. beautiful pub. loves the village selby! we had a time off. add to the bonus of the anthony joshua boxing game! friendly bar staff. can't blame it.
