The Blue Scoop - Selbyville

I often go to the Blue Scoop and the ice is freshly excellent! There are so many flavors to choose, making the decision that is much harder and it is great that made in Delaware! They will often see the owner, Barbara, throw away and talk to their many return customers! It is a happy and welcoming atmosphere! The ice shop is also large, very clean with plenty of seating so if you need an ice cream mix, The Blue Scoop is the place to go!

They have some awesome flavors so many I wanted to try. I wish I was visiting the area longer than just a couple of days so I could try all of the flavors. I ended up getting peppermint chip and cotton candy in a waffle cone and it reminded me so much of an ice cream place up north in Vermont that I love.

This place is amazing! I really need to thank our server for our order! Our 4yr old son has a heavy peanut allergy that prevents us from eating in ice cream shops (on cross-contamination). I went in and explained. Without hesitation, she asked what taste and opened a new sealed box with a new spoon (also at the end of the season when flavors are limited)! Thank you so much for enjoying a treat for my little one! If I visit, I don't have to sneak out when he's in bed. It's also some of the best ice cream I've ever had!

Really delicious ice cream, friendly staff; they even have gluten-free cones.

Local source, delicious ice cream. Much taste. Many kind help. Fun atmosphere. Clean. We spent $12,50 on three of us. My child size was more than enough. Recommended.
