Petek Çöp Şiş - Selcuk

Food was so great. I could say one of the best in the town. Real BBQ style Kebab. The owner even provided free tea after meal. No mandatory tip in the bill for tourist, treating as local ppl.

At this restaurant it was very comfortable and the food was delicious, service was excellent and not to expensive.

Last summer after we were finished visiting the last remaining pieces of the Temple of Artemis, we met a nice man who I asked to guide us to the best restaurant nearby. He took us here and we were welcomed with very nice service. Many locals were here so it was clear the food would be delicious and it was. As a bonus we were given tea, which was fantastic. Turkish tea is the best tea! Thank you.

We just had lunch after the museum visit. Absolutely delicious ! Very friendly staff and helpful. Speaking good English. Really good value for money and highly recommended!

It’s a small and cosy place at the city centre of Selçuk. I’ve tasted çöp şiş (grilled small pieces of meat on wooden skewers) and it is definetely delicious. If you’re a “red-meat lover” like me and perambulate around Ephesus or Şirince just give a break at this place’s garden for a quick lunch or dinner. Prices are fare and affordable.
