I grew up eating the signature chicken chop with brown gravy in the 80s and 90s. So when I went home last Eid, I had a sudden crave attack of that chicken chop. The last time I had it was a few years back and it was as yummy as I can remember. However, when the order came (after 2x order mistakes! I was extremely disappointed. They have totally changed the style:<br/ separate gravy (it was nicer soaked with the chicken <br/ heavily breaded fatty chicken. The actual meat was so little <br/ I'm giving 4.5 since the other foods are delicious and I'm sentimentally affected by all those years going to this place. We also had fried kuey teow, grilled lamb NZ black pepper and the milk shakes... wow! The pandan wrapped chicken is nice too. Great family times took place here since forever. Real cozy!
Went to have lunch at my favorite Chinese/Malay Restaurant with my dear wife. This restaurant are serve will all the Malay staff. Most of the staff have been there more than 10 years. That have incredible friendly staff. The service is pretty fast and the food is pretty reasonable. Our favorite dishes are ichibin chicken, seasonal veggie, fried or wet Assam prawn plus sour sop drink. Highly recommended for those who yearn for tasty Malaysian food with flavor.
