Good taste worth the long wait list, hot place, not very welcome service and limited salads
Solid place for American steaks. They will cut the piece directly for you. We tried their filet, ribeye, and hamburger steak. The steaks came out slightly more cooked than requested. Their hamburger steak sauce is really good. The seats however are small and bigger parties will have difficulty finding seats.
I loved the steak here, it was really good. You can go rice and salads with your meal, or just rice, for the steak yourself go into the counter to order the cut you want. It may be quite expensive, so I would not suggest more than the 200/300g cut. It was delicious, and they have an English menu, so order is not too difficult. The only negative is that the seats can be very narrow and crampy, which makes a somewhat unpleasant experience. If that doesn't touch you, you'll have a great meal.
That was my first time to eat at Ikinari Steak and for the price was the steak fantastic. If you cannot read Japanese, you can ask for an English menu. You have a variety of steaks to choose from...ribeye, Sirloin, Filet, etc. I chose the 20 day old Sirloin from Japanese beef. Once you know what Steak you want, take the number at your table and go back to the order. If you order, you must tell the cook how many grams you want. Most steaks have a minimum of 200 grams for reference, 16oz is about 450 grams). I ordered 400 grams, so my steak was ¥4400 ~US$40). Back at your table you can order drinks, rice, soup, salad etc. The steak is served on a hot plate and they offer you a bubble so you don't get anything on your clothes. My steak was excellent. Cooked perfectly medium) and very tasteful. I was just disappointed that I didn't order a bigger steak. I'm not sure if other locations are the same, but this place had only some tables in the back that had seats. The rest of the tables had no seats and you stood while you ate. I was at one of those tables and it wasn't bad at all. Also expect your clothes to smell as soon as you finish your meal. Make sure you have a few Febreze handy.
