Wonderful atmosphere, gorgeous view of the valley. Service was excellent without being overly formal. Knowledgeable waiters knowing their wines and share little tidbits about the region. I’m no star chaser. Actually find most starry places lose their shine once that becomes all it’ll ever be about, which happens a lot. Meaning I’ve experienced a good few places before they gain stars. Also, I don’t have the salary for stars which is crucial if you’re a collector. So Grič was an exception for our little fun group. Some of us had visited for nearly ten years and their love remains. The whole evening was magic. Everything tasted new. The inspection and analysis didn’t make it dull, but fun and hilarious at times. We were curious. Even the wines we’re familiar with just tasted better. The sommelier, the staff were charming and chef Luka deserves every success and what a great human too. Zero pretension. Loved the whole evening. One of the best culinary experiences anywhere in the world. The taste, creativity, presentation, service, and wine pairing were all legitimately 10/10. While some restaurants with a similar hyperlocal style can back themselves into a corner with limited ingredients, Gric 's kitchen has the talent to pull it off in spectacular fashion. Chef Luka was thankfully recognized with a Michelin Star last year, but truthfully that may be selling this place short the food is genuinely between 2 and 3 star worthy.
