I went in circles looking for him, then saw a Korean filiale with a poster for vegan cheese and assumed that it must be. many vegan goodies most of them are marked, but say something vegetarian, though they are vegan. a little expensive, but it is worth it occasionally. I saw at least one product with honey, they see the mindfulness of the ingredients.
It seems that healthy eating is the motto at this restaurant. It is a health food establishment that offers a variety of mostly vegetarian and vegan products. They have a wide selection of Korean noodles, rice cakes, teas, nuts, dried fruits, and imported items. In addition, they offer vegan snacks, packaged bread, non-dairy cheese, and mock meats. They also have processed foods like veganized fish cakes, soy cuts, and vegan instant noodles. If you live in the neighborhood, it would be worth checking out. They also sell honey and fresh eggs (not organic), so it is recommended to check the labels. It is advisable to check the expiration date as well. The staff speaks English and can assist customers who do not speak Korean. Updated review as of December 14th, 2021.
This restaurant is not fully vegan-friendly. There were hidden milk and ice ingredients in some of their products, including soy milk which reportedly contained cow milk. They also sell honey and are affiliated with the Seventh Day Adventist Church. If you are looking for vegan options, it is recommended to use online shopping for vegefood, vegan farm, and sometimes Violife products. Be sure to read labels carefully, as there may be inconsistencies like the soup broth that listed cow meat as an ingredient on some bags but not others. (Updated from a previous review on 2018-05-07)
There are many delicious vegan and vegetarian options to choose from at this restaurant, but it is important to carefully read the labels as not everything is guaranteed to be vegetarian or vegan. It can be easy to miss this if you are unfamiliar with the menu. The owner is very friendly and welcoming!
