It's certainly nice to have an eating option at the airport (low cost carrier terminal, not the main KL International Airport terminal). Beware food is spicy though! Have some bread options like puri/paratha etc. Expensive
I can confirm there are vegan options, they use oil rather than ghee to cook with. The guys behind the counter didn't mind me asking about dairy and butter in things. We ate a roti set and tried the samosas all tasted great. Costs are higher but that is normal for anything bought at an airport.
The map indicates that the restaurant is located in the same building as the Sama Sama Hotel. This information is incorrect as the restaurant is not anywhere near that building. Additionally, there seems to be a serious issue with the GPS in the entire airport area, so it is advisable not to rely on GPS navigation to find the restaurant.
I asked the guy at the counter when they cook the rice in the broth, and he said they only use water and "susu" (milk). Perhaps the vegetables are good enough for some people.
