Golden Star - Sequim

The food was excellent, the service was outstanding, and the portion sizes were generous. The prices were very reasonable, too. The tea offered was somewhat different from what you might typically find in a traditional Chinese restaurant, but it was still quite good.

The American Chinese food here is quite good, with generous portion sizes. The restaurant is spacious and clean, and there's plenty of safe parking available. The staff is friendly and attentive. While I wasn't a fan of the Lomein—it felt too Americanized for my taste—I'm happy to report that the wide rice noodles were quite decent.

I had the Tofu and Broccoli, and it was absolutely delicious! It was served quickly and piping hot. The server was very accommodating, which was a plus. I really appreciate that they offer a variety of vegan options on the entrée menu, though I do wish there were more choices available in the appetizer section. Overall, it was a great experience, and I plan to return!

The food was really good, but also so hot that it burned my tongue. The host is a child that is everywhere in place to serve, bus, host, clean and everything in between. It took at least 5 minutes until he realized I was waiting there for a table. Very simple meals with simple gifts.

Used to eat here 15 years ago, and on a whim went back while in the area. Did not disappoint. Good portions and good food in a simple setting with friendly service.
