Feedback gevenI’m not a big fan of Lor Mee ie taste of Lor Mee for me is acquired. Hence, my review is based on being a non-fan of Lor Mee. There is taste of vinegar and the broth is a thick . Almost like having a shark fin soup . Shop also sells toddy which is easy on the tongue but sweet for my taste. Biscuits and chips are retailed here .
Food is good but be careful on the portion size. The 4 person noodle looked like it can easily feed 6 7 people. Small town portions tend to be larger. The pork bihun (khaw yoke mifun) is superb, the loh mee itself is normal but what made it good is the fragrance from the vinegar and just nice too... Not too much or too little or too sour. The fried fuzhok with fish paste is also delish and the honey lemon in a jug is just the right thirst quencher on a hot day.
Very nice food. The loh mee already have black vinegar added in so they won’t give you black vinegar separately. The fried 白粿 is really nice, flavourful sauce and with wok hei, recommended to try. Have bought their orang asli honey many years, really nice quality honey.
Went there in the late afternoon. Ordered Loh Mee and Fried can stewed pork mee hoon. The portion for the food was huge. We could hardly finish all. The taste was good.
Food quality is good, portion is large as well. Only service still have room to improve, should be more attentive and kind. Don't rush your customers when ordering, it makes people feel pressure. Also, toilet quality can be improved.
